This Year's E3 Will Be the Most Important One Ever, According to CD Projekt Red

For them specifically, at least.

Last E3, the world finally got its first real look at the next big CD Projekt Red game, Cyberpunk 2077, which made millions of fanboys and girls around the world gasp so loudly that trees needed to work overtime to replace all that lost oxygen. However, since that big reveal, and the trailers that followed, we haven’t really hard that much about the game, outside the odd tidbit that would slip out during an interview or a teaser.

But with CD Projekt Red confirmed for this year’s E3, it’s safe to assume more information is right around the corner; in fact, according to CEO Adam Kiciński during a financial review, he said it’s going to be the most important E3 of their entire lives.

"Last year's E3 has been the most important one so far throughout the whole CD Projekt history… but this year's is going to be the most important one ever for us. We have really prepared a strong show."

He continued to say that many surprises would be revealed (no surprise musicians though) and generally hyping the event (unlike, say, Sony and EA, who made a point to distance themselves from the venue again this year), talking about how it’s the best time for big moments, surprises, and launches… which is certainly eye-opening wording.

But he also spent time talking about how they’ve been growing their studio in recent months to support their NEXT game – the one after Cyberpunk 2077 – which is an unannounced RPG that we know literally nothing about.

“…As a company, we are going to grow indeed. In our industry, creative capacities are in direct proportion to the team sizes because it's people doing and creating what we are selling. We don't plan to stop at a certain level."

Geez. Looks like we’re in for a lot of surprises from these bad boys… hopefully, they keep being good ones.
