Gamerz Unite Staff Bios

Pocru, AKA "His real name is Joseph", has been writing for small gaming websites for over eight years now, and first joined Gamerz Unite as a contributor in 2014. His favorite games are Dark Souls, Undertale, League of Legends (when he's winning), and The Urbz: Sims in the City. He's the most vocal of the bunch and has the contributions to the community to back it up.

Michelle is who you would consider to be a bit of an oddball. Her whimsical personality shines often in her writing, which tend to focus on Japanese role-playing games, food, action games, platformers, shooters, or just about anything as long as it is not her worst enemy (RTS).

Whenever she is not writing about video games or finances, she's more than likely playing video games - Final Fantasy XIV about 90 percent of the time - exploring the outdoors, cooking, Netflixing, or playing with her cat.

A self-proclaimed "filthy casual," Branden has a more laid-back approach to gaming. He can enjoy games harvesting turnips and milking cows just as much as he can brutally ripping the heads of demonic entities on Mars. He considers video games to be the ultimate art form, believing they are capable of some great (and not so great) things. While not too into competitive gaming, he will talk himself blue about virtual reality if given the chance.

Jesse likes to think of himself as a quintessential gamer, and most of the time, he even believes it. He tends to spend his time dominating the online competitive gaming community, and when he wakes up, he usually plays them at an above-average level. He likes to play shooters of all kinds as well as MMORPG's, and when he's not playing video games, he's probably binge watching Netflix, having a tasty beer or sleeping.

David is a jack of all trades. An accomplished Designer & Developer of the Interwebs (including Gamerz Unite) and an avid and fiercly opinioned Writer by night. He works mostly behind the scenes and will sometimes pop his head up and babble about a local gaming event or RTS he finds challenging. His favorite games include Halo, Doom and most anything within the Command & Conquer series. In a former life, he won a few Halo and C&C tournaments. David enjoys many things including Sci Fi movies and tv series, biking, playing poker and working on his car.
