The Next SouljaBoy Console Will Not Play Fortnite, Says Epic

He's back, and this time he doesn't have Fortnite.

Soulja Boy, perhaps realizing that he’s on the 14th of his 15 minutes, has been working hard to convince people he’s going to make it big in the world of video games. He debuted the SouljaGame and SouljaGame Handheld last year, which were actual real consoles, but they were also jam-packed with pirated and cracked copies of games, so they were kind of… you know, illegal. He stopped selling them as soon as Nintendo stepped in and went on to say he was hoping to start an eSports franchise with the ultra-famous Ninja, although… literally, nothing has come of that so far so he may have just been blowing smoke again.

But hey, this is a man of ambition: you don’t need common sense when you have ambition. And now, Soulja Boy is working on a NEW console that will support, and this is his words, not mine – 800 PS4 titles, and will also come with Fortnite.

This comes to us from a little conversation between DJ Akademiks and Soulja Boy, where the former asked the latter about this upcoming Soulja console, and if Fortnite could be played on it – which, in case you were wondering, is the only video game that exists in the mind of people who don’t play video games. Soulja boy confirmed that it would be true, and everyone was happy.

Everyone except Nick Chester of Epic Games, who shut down the idea quite convincingly to Dualshockers:

No, you can’t play Fortnite on a rooted or jailbroken device due to anti-cheat measures.

Well, way to just assume it would be jailbroken, Nick Chester. Maybe this next game console would be legitimate and would have 800 legally licensed PS4 games pre-downloaded on it legally. It could happen: after all, only fools would underestimate the sway of a man like Soulja Boy.

The guy who needed Ninja to even get his account verified on Twitch.
