Techland Jumps on Beverage Marketing by Collaborating with Water

Seriously, this is what makes Techland so lovable.

Earlier today, we have touched upon Destiny's collaboration with Redbull and the time-exclusive mission being tied onto cans of Redbull, but it seems that Techland, the team behind Dying Light and Guncat, is also jumping on board the marketing trend with a similar campaign:

Dying%20Light%20Take%202.png

Yes, introducing the partnership between Dying Light and Water! That's right, with the inviting tag line of:

"Level up your game with the real king of hydration featuring"

The Tweeted image goes a bit father, introducing the incentives of obtaining this beverage:

"A Glass of Water
Many Times Consumable
Ever stopped to wonder how extremely awesome water is? It's natural, vegan, and sugar-free. It's also delicious and great for your health. And even better, it's basically free!
Available Now"

However, those brave enough to partake in a small quest can receive an epic new docket for Dying Light:

"Epic New Docket
For Dying Light
Post a picture of you drinking a glass of water with the tag #DrinkRightDyingLight and get your code for a premium weapon docket!
Distributed Soon"

This is beyond amazing, because not only are they taking a friendly jab at Bungie as well as being fun and creative, but they are also advocating the health benefits of drinking water. Plus, it's pretty awesome that you can receive a weapon docket just for drinking something basically free--and healthy! A successful one-two punch, I have to admit.
