Octopath Traveler Is Rated for PC in Korea

Soon coming to the West?

The PC port of Octopath Traveler inbound? Apparently, if we are to belive the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea, which has recently rated Octopath Traveler for PC.

The PC port is listed to be published by Bandai Namco, which typically handles the PC porting of various games from Square Enix... at least in Korea.

This is pretty neat, considering that it's been only recently that an Octopath Traveler mobile game prequel was announced (we still don't know if it is coming to the west). As for whether the PC port is heading anywhere else but Korea... that's up in the air.

For those who need a refresher (or just are unsure of what the game is about), Octopath Traveler, a turn-based JRPG, focuses on the stories of eight individuals. You have your dancer, cleric, thief, scholar, huntress, etc. who are journeying the world to fulfill their own goals. While the art and music are highlights of the game, the main complaint of the title is its fairly dry story that doesn't tend to exactly intersect character stories. Of course, you should make that particular judgment on your own.

While Octopath Traveler is not currently on PC, you can purchase the title on the Nintendo Switch for $59.99.
