A lot of us are looking forward to Mortal Kombat X, with its interactive environments and broad roster of fighters. However, the game, scheduled for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One release on April 14th, is not all we get to look forward to.

We also get to look forward to Mortal Kombat X on iOS and Android.

Just not in the way you're thinking.

The mobile version of Mortal Kombat X acts more like an extension of the main game, focusing on card collecting and battling combined with fighting mechanics, all mixed with multiplayer support. What is also a relief is that the move sets will be the same as the console version.

Integration increases the enjoyment factor of both version of MKX, as you can unlock content for the console version by playing the mobile version and vice versa. Pretty neat to say the least, but if you want to check out the visuals for MKX for mobile, also scheduled for release in April, you can watch the trailer below:
