It's really tiny.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an extremely popular game on the Nintendo Switch and they've had some decent updates lately. Update 1.2 had some pretty major changes and bug fixes, while also introducing the new Pikmin Suit for the Mii driver. If you want the Pikmin Suit for yourself, you need to own the brand new Pikmin amiibo, but enough about update 1.2.

We're here to talk about update 1.2.1. In this update, there is one change. It's not big, it's not crazy, and it kind of makes me question why they even decided to do this update all by itself. Update 1.2.1 makes people wait less time to return to the lobby after an online tournament ends. That's it. The entire update is being put in to save players about 5 seconds.

Maybe that just means that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is so incredibly perfect that the only thing in the entire world that they could change was the wait time. I have no idea, but that update sounds pretty wild to me.
