Elon Musk Reveals his Love for Overwatch

Elon Musk is the widely known genius tech entrepreneur of our time. He's the one responsible for the incredibly efficient Tesla electric cars. He also has a big horse in the solar energy race. Oh, and let's not forget his current obsession with space travel. If anyone is going to end up as Supreme Ruler of Mars, it's Elon Musk.

Recently, Musk sat down with Sam Altman with Y Combinator for an interview. Somewhere in there, Altman decides to ask about video games. Specifically, he asks if Musk can recommend any games for him. Immediately and without hesitation, Musk blurts out, "Overwatch." That's the end of his list. He suggests Hearthstone, because his kids are playing it. But he didn't really seem to be playing anything else. Check out the video below and see for yourself.



Another notable point is in how interested Musk is about story with video games. He feels that developers have been getting lazier about writing a terrific story, because they can fall back on visuals and gameplay to sell their games. Based on that, it is interesting how Musk is so interested in Overwatch. It's true that it has a building story behind the scenes, but it's nothing to write home about.
