Splatoon is very well known for its player versus player combat, and in the case of Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch, the case is still the same. Although PVP may be the main focus in Splatoon 2, Salmon Run, the new co-op game mode brings a fresh new gameplay experience to the table.

Salmon Run, is a local co-op game mode that pits four players against wave after wave of enemies, similar to a "horde" game. The goal is to fight through countless hordes of enemies and bosses, all the while collecting salmon eggs. As you can tell, the name is pretty self-explanatory.
