Bring Glory to Mandkind as 2B in Soulcalibur 6

You'll have to pay for the privilage, however.

Soulcalibur 6 is officially out, and people are calling it perhaps the best Soulcalibur game since the second: with high praise being offered for the immensely detailed character customizer (and the ability to give your character a willy), the return of the slightly slow, combo-jungle combat, and the… well, not the single-player so much, but still, that’s there too.

That said, Namco Bandai isn’t being shy with DLC: the season pass will cost you a full 30 bucks, and you can already buy series veteran Tira for around six bucks (which caused quite a stir among fans, as she is a mainstay of the series and selling her separately was kind of a dick move). And even now, with the game being less than a month old, Namco Bandai has yet again announced even more DLC: although this one is far, far more welcome.

A new guest character will be joining the stage of history! Meet YoRHa No. 2 Type B from Square Enix's NieR: Automata. 2B and her dual blades, Virtuous Contract & Virtuous Treaty, are designed for combat against machine lifeforms, employing acrobatic leaps and mid-air slashes, lightning-fast evasions and perfectly coordinated strikes! She will be making her way to the #SOULCALIBURVI along with her own stage and background music.

This is super friggen cool guys, I’m sorry. Like, Geralt was cool and everything but this excites me way more. The way that her combat style uses all the tools and gimmicks from the game is a great touch, and the fact that the first thing she does when she sees a human is to beat them up is shockingly on-message with the game she comes from.

Oh, and of course, this will probably mean you can use her fighting style for your own, customizable characters. As well as new cosmetic options.

No word on when she comes out, but it’ll probably be soon.
