One of the more anticipated Nintendo titles of this year is the upcoming Yoshi game. It's currently lacking an official name, but a recent leak on the Nintendo website has given us a pretty good idea what it'll be.
For a small period of time, anyone who visited the Super Mario Odyssey page on the Nintendo website would find a familiar listing in the "You Might Also Like..." section. It brandished the Yoshi 2018 logo and the name "Yoshi's Crafted World." Though upon following the listing, you find a blank page.
Unfortunately, Nintendo has since patched this leak, but not before a number of people confirmed it for themselves. Including a screenshot, used as the article header, provided by Nintendowire.com.
The running speculation among the community is that the official name was to be announced originally during the recently delayed Nintendo Direct. The Direct was supposed to be broadcast live Thursday evening, but was delayed due to a recent earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan. It's theorized that the Yoshi listing was updated "on-time" instead of being delayed as well.
In the same vein, a new issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu is scheduled to publish this weekend. Many are anticipating newfound information in the issue that was originally supposed to be announced at the Direct. We can expect a few more unexpected leaks of the same nature to appear over the next few days.
