The sequel has arrived! The second chapter of Nihon Falcom's The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky has debuted on PC worldwide and on PSP in North America. According to XSEED, this chapter will only be available digitally, and at a price of $29.99.

According to Ken Berry, Executive Vice President of Marvelous USA:

"We've been looking forward to this moment for the last four years--ever since our release of the original The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Fans have fervently requested the release of Second Chapter following their first adventure into Liberl, so we're extremely happy to finally be able to make that a reality."

Wow, has it been that long ago? I remember when the experience first released in its amazing glory... geez, how time flies.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC takes place just a few hours after the ending of the first game, as Estelle travels across Liberl in search of Joshua. All the while, the Bracer Guild solicits the girl for a new quest: to seek the answer to the mysteries behind Society of Ouroboros. Expect a gifted soundtrack aiming to tickle fans' ears, strategic turn-based system with thorough and deep customization, new arts, crafts, upgraded orbments, and combo attacks. As icing on the cake, players will encounter all new quests, mini-games, collectables and unique NPCs with their own tales.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is now available on the North American PlayStation Store for the PSP, GOG.com, and Steam for $29.99.

Additionally, for those that didn't dive into the first Trails in the Sky can purchase the title for a 50% discount ($9.99) on the PlayStation Store, Steam, and GOG.com. Check out the official launch trailer below:
