Diddy Kong Racing was what many would consider a fantastic party game on the Nintendo 64. Despite fans wanting a follow-up, it just never happened, but there were attempts in the form of pitches.

Introducing Diddy Kong Racing Adventure, a Climax Studios pitch that never followed through.

The intended-to-be Gamecube title was an intended to be a sequel but with gameplay that wasn't exactly like the first title. Fun fact though: the rhino's model in the video was ripped directly from Rare's Donkey Kong Racing successor, Sabreman Stampede, an Xbox 360 title that was also canceled. According to the video's creator, PtoPOnline:

"The Rhino was actually a test piece that has been around since they were working on Metallica, and perhaps before that."
