Interested in The Crew 2? I certainly am, but since there are so many games coming out this summer - looking at you, Dragon's Crown Pro, Sega Genesis Classics Collection, Project Octopath Traveler, Dark Souls Remastered, etc., etc. - it would need to be placed on the backburner. Anyway, the good news is that, if you want a taste and help fix any bugs that may emerge so late before its launch, there will be a closed beta happening from May 31 to June 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ubisoft confirmed this yesterday, and this beta will require invites.

If you want to sign up for the beta, you'll have to go to thecrewgame.com/beta.

Ubisoft has also given the heads up to preload the game if you've been chosen as a tester. This preload will be available from May 29.

As for the content you'll be able to experience in The Crew 2's closed beta, there will be one level of its progression system and races across the first four disciplines - rally raid, powerboat, acrobatics, and, of course, street racing.

You'll also be able to take full advantage of the vehicle transformation feature, Fast-Fav, so you'll be able to swap between car, plan, and boat.

So, looking forward to it? I certainly am!
