Activision confirmed during an earnings call that this year's Call of Duty title will be developed by Treyarch, who is known for Black Ops. So this only adds fuel to the fire of the recent rumor that Black Ops 4 is in development. In fact, it seems as if it is all but confirmed, especially since Black Ops is Call of Duty's most popular sub-brand. Activision, however, did not delve any further into the title. Unfortunately, we may not hear anything for a few months, as it is normal for these titles to be announced in the spring, i.e. right before E3.
Unfortunately, that's all the news we have to share regarding the title, but we hope you'll stay tuned for future declarations and the inevitable unveiling of Black Ops 4.
