While the original Titanfall wasn't everything that gamers had hoped for, Titanfall 2 took a huge leap in the right direction when it was launched. If you've decided to put the controller down for a while, it might be time to consider picking it back up again. The game has just released a free DLC called Postcards from the Frontier, and will be offering double XP for all players until September 5.

The DLC comes with a brand new Live Fire map, three Frontier Defense maps, a new execution, and eight Elite Weapon Warpaints. Unlike all of the other free additions in this DLC, the Elite Weapon Warpaints will cot you $4.99 a piece, unless you buy the bundle of all eight for $24.99. The bundle will be available until September 26 and the warpaints come with a little perk.

If you own one warpaint, it comes with a squad leader bonus that gives player a 10% chance to earn a double XP token at the end of the match. This percentage caps off at a 30% chance after you own three warpaints. Any additional warpaints after your third will not offer any increased odds. Check out the new Postcards from the Frontier trailer down below!
