We're at that age in video game advancement that some of the adult or older gamers can recall nostalgia for the generations they grew up with. To some, that's consoles like the NES. To others, it's the original Xbox. Many of these enthusiasts are feeding that historical passion with this classic skin for the Xbox One.

The console seen above is not the original Xbox from 2001. It's a re-applicable skin for the Xbox One emulating its grandfather's funky flow. This is one of the latest products by Hyperkin, a company producing a collection of retro callbacks for modern consoles.

The skin isn't some poorly made product scam either. It's been licensed and approved by Microsoft Xbox. Adhesive-free, it can be applied and removed as needed and without interfering with buttons or controls.

The skin quickly grew in popularity after one Reddit user (/u/pixel156) shared their console on the platform. They and others praise the skin for its easy application and nostalgic aura.

If you like this, you might also enjoy Hyperkin's Duke controller. This is a corded USB controller shaped like the original Xbox controller. Said generation of controllers was affectionately named "The Duke" for its bulky shape and size. It also features a transparent green plastic, referencing a line of special edition Xbox consoles that featured the same style.

The skin itself is available online for $30. The Duke controller is as well for $65.
