Thimbleweed Park Now Lets You Remove "Annoying In-Jokes"

Interesting or no?

Does Thimbleweed Park ring a bell? If it doesn't, well, I won't blame you. This adventure title, from Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge creator Ron Gilbert and Maniac Mansion creator Gary Winnick, is interesting in the sense that it is a little ridiculous.

However, what's also ridiculous (and interesting) is that there is a now an "options" tab that lets you remove all of the "annoying in-jokes" that reference Lucasarts and previous adventure games. This way, you won't have to end up confused or anything.

So what's Thimbleweed Park about? Well, players will have to solve a murder in a small city of... well... original characters. You'll slip into the shoes of five different characters, including sailor-mouthed clowns, and experience the story from their point-of-view. Of course, you can't have an adventure game without puzzles! Item-based puzzles are back, which will allow you to progress.

Of course, you'll find puns, jokes, and - pretty much hilarity - packed into this title.

Thimbleweed Park is available now on Steam, Xbox One, GOG, Humble Store, and the Mac App Store. Expect it to arrive sometime for the iOS and Android.
