Dedicated to "games, food, and life"

Jack Black has started his own gaming channel on YouTube. Yes, I mean the School of Rock, Tenacious D, Tropic Thunder Jack Black. He's launched Jablinksi Games with his son, a new YouTube channel dedicated to games, food, and life.

Currently, the channel only has an introductory video, where Black himself fools around on a PC chair in his office, explaining the channel. It will have weekly videos, recorded, edited, and published by his son. In it, he jokingly claims that he will be bigger than Ninja and PewdiePie, two of the biggest gaming YouTubers at the moment. Since its publication, the video has built up over 2 million views and over 500,000 subscribers.

Every so often, a new celebrity makes headlines for announcing their involvement in something video game related. One example is buff actor Terry Crews, who got into custom PC building in order to connect more with his son. While not gaming related, we've also seen Will Smith and Dwayne the Rock Johnson become regular content creators on the video platform.

This isn't even the first time Black made news relating to video games. He previously spoke out publicly against microtransactions after discovering that his son had built up $3,000 in in-app purchases. He also voiced the protagonist of Brutal Legend, a 2009 action RPG.

Who wants to wager whether Robert Downey Jr. or Simon Pegg will be the next one to start their own Letsplay channel?
