Starting today, Elder Scrolls Online players finally have a place to rest their heads at night other than the cold floor of wherever they decide to log out.  Arguably one of the most anticipated DLC releases that players have been waiting for since the launch of the game is finally arriving.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Homestead DLC allows players to buy their own home or island using in-game currency and also through the crown store.  On top of being able to purchase your very own dwelling, players also have access to over 2,000 cosmetic/decorative items to customize their home with.

Whether you're a savvy entrepreneur who has an extensive disposable income or someone who maybe has a little bit of a spending problem, you can find a home regardless.  Thankfully, nobody will be homeless ever again in Elder Scrolls Online.  Obtaining a free home is as easy as completing a tutorial.  The trailer showcases small and medium size homes for races such as khajit, nord, redguard, imperial, orc and also a large hall called Craglorn Cavern.  All decorations in the trailer are made used the 2,000 in-game decorations available, showcasing the amount of creativity and uniqueness that can go into these homes.

If you were getting bored of Elder Scrolls Online, then this DLC might be the reason for you to jump back in.  What are you waiting for? Get online and go create the online home of your dreams.  Or don't, I'm not one to judge.
