It took a while, but were all about to be connected properly. Publisher Enhance has announced that Tetris Effects multiplayer update, Connected, will be coming to Steam for PC this Summer.

The news, in a sense, was announced on Twitter. I say in a sense because the announcement links to the Steam page, and the entire thing was leaked a bit early from folks sifting through the Steam database. So technically, we knew already. But this is the publishers first announcement. They kind of play to that allusion in the tweet, too.

Its no secret that Tetris Effect: Connected is coming to Steam this Summer so were thrilled to announce that our

page is now live! 🎉

This will be the first time Tetris Effect: Connected update or not, will be on Steam. Prior to this, the game was an Epic Games exclusive, should you want it on PC. With the game releasing on Steam, it will become easier for PC players that prefer the storefront to utilize their multiplayer infrastructure. Theyll also be able to use Steam VR to play the game in Virtual Reality mode.

Tetris Effect: Connected, as the name implies, adds a new level of player connection by introducing multiplayer modes to the base game. This adds new competitive and cooperative game modes to the classic brick-dropping format.

If we assume that it will be the same price on Steam as it is on the Epic Game Store, you can expect it to cost $39.99. While not yet available, you can visit the Steam page now and add it to your wishlist. This will notify you when the game becomes available for purchase in Summer 2021.
