Super Bowl 2018 Surprises Us with PlayStation 2-esque Digital Models of Quarterbacks

It was quite the throwback.

Super Bowl 2018 has been quite exciting, as the Eagles carved out a victory that was unlike any other (hey, they were the underdogs that finally surpassed every hurdle faced - have to applaud them for that, even if I am from New England).

However, what was a tad mind-boggling were the digital representations of the Patriots' Tom Brady and Philadelphia's Nick Foles that were displayed during the quarterback comparison. Unfortunately, I was unable to take a photo at the time, so we can instead rely on this Redditor and his Reddit post. And they appeared as if they were ripped straight out of a PlayStation 2 Madden title. The faces and bodies are blurred, their bones and joints aren't exactly human-shaped, and they are simply disproportionate.

In other words, it's a sight to behold.

But other than that and excluding the cleverly-executed Tide Ad commercials, it's been one heck of a game, I'll admit.
