Streamer Ninja is Getting 3 Books Published Soon

And two of them sound tolerable.

So, Ninja is still the most popular streamer on Twitch. My opinion on the guy has generally fluxed between “mild irritation” and “total ambivalence”, the latter of which is where it sits now: not only does my opinion of him literally not matter (so why bother getting fussed about it), he’s a lot better than streamers like Dr. Disrespect, who’s just making money off being a jerk.

But there are still times when I feel that mild irritation come back, this being one of them: because it was just announced by Edbury, Ninja’s publisher, that the man will be getting not one, not two, but three different books published in the coming months. Or at least, books that bear his name and likeness: there’s no indication he actually wrote any of these.

The first book is called Ninja: Get Good, and it promises to do exactly that: teach wannabe gamers how to be “unstoppable” in-game. The actual details of what that entails is still a bit of a mystery, but Ninja being a former eSport pro and a current top streamer means he’s probably one of the most qualified people to write a book like that. If it only covers Fortnite or if it includes more general tips, well, I guess we’ll have to wait until August to find out.

The second book is less of a “book” then it is a notebook filled with Ninja stickers, pro-tips, and “prompts to get your mind going”. It’ll come out in August for the Ninja superfan who’s just not satisfied with the T-Shirts.

The final book, which comes out in December, is called “Ninja: The Most Dangerous Game”, which is a (presumably) fictional story where Ninja receives a mysterious invitation to take part in “an impossibly realistic, challenging, and addictive game”.

I have nothing to add to that. Draw your own damn conclusions.

Lord knows I have.
