People have been pretty hyped for the new EA title, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and we now have access to some new information. While it isn't the most info in the world, we have some beta dates. For players that have pre-ordered the game, you can get into the beta starting on October 4. If you haven't pre-ordered, you still have plenty of time to get that all taken care of.

That being said, you don't need to pre-order to get into beta. By pre-ordering, you are giving yourself a 2 day advantage over everybody else, as the beta goes public on October 6. If you know you're going to pick the game up, you might as well just pre-order and get the extra 2 days of gaming. If you're still on the fence, it might be best to wait out the game until it goes public and try it then.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is going to be released on November 17, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The beta will be ending on October 9, so depending on which route you take, you'll either have 4 days of access or 6. Choose wisely.
