It's always interesting to see collaborations between famed companies and personalities. Take, for example, the recent announcement that is the love child between the father of Sonic and Square Enix, Balan Wonderworld.

This Nights into Dreams-Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles look alike title is brought to you by The Balan Company, Square Enix's newly-created action-game studio, and stars Emma and Leo, both of whom traverse Balan Wonderworld. Gameplay is essentially tied to a myriad of costumes, granting you unique and powerful abilities.

But what about Wonderworld itself? Well, Wonderworld is where memories seamlessly blend together with the real-world, but can only be visited when people reach a pivotal moment in their lives (e.g. moments causing sadness or grief).

Check out the trailer below, which looks clearly reminiscent of Nights.

Balan Wonderworld is heading to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in Spring 2021.
