Not the happiest of news.

Recently, word came out that Sony is closing the Guerrilla Cambridge studio. If you aren't familiar with the studio, you most likely know some of their projects. Guerrilla Cambridge has done work on Rigs, Killzone, and LittleBigPlanet. Most importantly, they worked on the classic, smash-hit, MediEvil. They worked on a lot of projects in their 19 years. However, their work apparently wasn't appreciated enough to keep them around.

Goodnight, sweet prince.

The worst part is that the entire staff will likely be left unemployed by the end. It's definitely a sad end to a studio that's had a hand in so many classic titles. Surely, the work the team has done will help ensure each one doesn't stay unemployed for long.
