Runescape, being one of the original MMORPGs, is maintaining a hefty player base, though the player base is split between Old School Runescape and Runescape. Killing cows and tanning their hides to sell at the Grand Exchange will forever be embedded in thousands of gamer's memories.

Although Runescape may be old, it's definitely keeping up with the times, as it is constantly adding content. Jagex has even recently announced that it will be bringing both Old School Runescape and Runescape to mobile devices in the future. Players will be able to continue their adventures on phones and tablets, even after logging off their PC.

Since Runescape is very heavy on grinding and AFK playing, this is a huge deal for the community. This transition to mobile will be happening sometime this winter, but we'll keep you updated with an official release date once the date gets announced.
