Pretty certain the internet has now imploded.

It has happened. It has been revealed.

What in the world am I referring to? Well, if you haven't paid attention to this week's news, then you've probably been far too busy with work or have been residing under a rock. Then again, perhaps your online-compatible devices have somehow imploded. Whatever the reason may be, you might have missed out on the teasing of a Red Dead entry by Rockstar Games.

But it was today that the company officially lifted the curtains on Red Dead Redemption 2, which is due for launch in the Fall of 2017 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Wait, no PC? That's surprising in this day and age, but I'm certain that a PC port will land after the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases. I can't imagine people not demanding for a port, after all. Either way, according to the official site:

"Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland. The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience."

So yes, Red Dead Online will certainly be happening, alongside the existence of the main title. I wouldn't be surprised if the title is being developed in a manner similar to Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.

Though we don't have any more information for you regarding the title at the moment, stay tuned for an upcoming trailer, set to launch on October 20, 2017 at 11AM EST.
