There have been an absolute plethora of characters to appear in Fall Guys. But only now is the true mascot of PlayStation making their way into the Blunderdome. The next costume options to enter the battle royale party game is Astro Bot!

Announced and detailed on the PlayStation Blog by Mediatonics community manager Bee Sarafian, two new costumes will be added to Fall Guys: Asto and T-Rex.

Sarafian explained that the two characters were chosen specifically to be a marriage made in madness. They explain that Asto has become a leading face for PlayStation (acting as the protagonist for Asto Bot and Astros Playroom, two games developed to make the most of PlayStation hardware). Astros cute charisma was a perfect fit for Fall Guys wacky aesthetic.

T-Rex, however, was designed for the completionist players.

But what if youre not making a costume based on an iconic character? It still has to be recognizable in its own right. And thats when costumes like the T-Rex come in. At the core, its a wonderful design that epitomizes the collectathon buzz we know our players all have. Its a costume that you want to have in your locker.

The two costumes will be available in a few days. The Astro outfit, which includes pattern, nameplate, lower half, upper half, nickname, and wave emote, will be available as part of the Sweet Thieves event for a number of points. The T-Rex costume will be available from March 10 for 5 Crowns each (top and bottom, totaling to 10 crowns).

The event will end on March 13. The blog implies that the costumes will not be available after that, but that might be us misinterpreting. We will see soon enough.
