PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Will Not Stay Exclusive to Xbox

Accelerated launch is the key term here.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was announced that it is going to be a "console launch exclusive" in this years E3. While this may not be enough to assume that it will reach other platforms, it has been confirmed that the partnership between Bluehole Studios and Microsoft allows PUBG reach a wider audience, much faster than it possibly could on its own.

Chang Han Kim, executive producer of PUBG stated in an Xbox Wire post that "accelerate console development, while maintaining quality across all platforms, as well as giving us access to vast sales, marketing and publishing resources that will help us reach new fans to welcome to the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds universe."

While a PS4 release hasn't been confirmed, it's fairly safe to assume that a title as popular as PUBG will not be limited to just two platforms. A PS4 announcement is definitely coming in the future, just not as fast as we might like.
