Petition Started to Cancel Far Cry 5

Triggered would be an understatement.

Since Far Cry 5 was revealed last week, fans of the franchise, critics, and pretty much anyone with an opinion to offer has been going crazy about the very controversial theme that Ubisoft has decided to go with regarding white Christian Americans being the villains. The internet has been constantly buzzing with just about every blogger to every major publication offering their opinion on the matter, and now, someone has taken it to even greater lengths.

"Enough is enough Ubisoft. We've sat through your multicultural lectures and your preachy games aimed at degenerates and miscegenators. Weve tolerated it in the name of gameplay design and innovation. But no more! Far Cry 5 is an insult to your fanbase, the Americans who make up the majority of your customers, and its time you woke up to that fact. Change this, or cancel it."

It's Unclear whether the petition is a joke or not, but at this point, it's anybody's guess. Either way, I doubt the petition will affect the development of Far Cry 5 whatsoever.

Check out the petition here.
