No more free loot boxes.

Blizzard released an update on the PC version of Overwatch yesterday that primarily fixed bugs and fixed a fairly game-breaking exploit with the newest PvE mode from the Uprising seasonal Event. As everyone knows, Overwatch's newest PvE game mode from the Uprising event awards players with loot boxes upon victory. This is obviously a great way to farm loot boxes in order to obtain the new skins before the event ends, but some players have figured out a way to prevent enemies from spawning, resulting in an inevitable win and a free loot-box.

Blizzard has always expressed their hatred for any players that decide to exploit Overwatch for personal gain, and they definitely were not impressed to hear that people were farming free loot-boxes from their new PvE game-mode. In this PC patch, they rendered this exploit useless, as you'll now have to actually fight your way to the end of the match in order to receive a win. While this exploit didn't affect the gameplay experience of the competitive or casual scene, it did provide players with an accelerated way of obtaining the new cosmetic items and pressured players into using it instead of playing the game as intended.

Along with the exploit being fixed, Blizzard also fixed a glitch that resulted in ties/draws not being broken properly. Thankfully, Blizzard is always fast with a response on the matter of exploits and game-breaking issues. Check out the rest of the patch notes below:
