Overcooked 2!, the popular co-op cooking game, will be getting new content soon. But put those wallets away, it's free.

In a short teaser video, developers Team 17 announced a "free update coming soon." The only distinguishable footage shown is a top down view, zoomed in on a small stream as some busy chefs run past.

It's worth noting that as mild as it seems, some new aspects of the game are present in the teaser. The first thing we noticed was the dish that one chef carried. It was a plate full of plums, oranges, and what look to be mangoes. Another chef falls into the water, holding a leafy green of sorts, perhaps romaine lettuce, or some variation of leek or onion.

The location is similar to the sushi levels, but none of these ingredients appear in the base game. While this tells us virtually nothing, its at least a small taste of the upcoming changes.

No dates were given at this time as to when the update will launch, nor if it will come to PC before consoles. Stay tuned as more becomes available to us.

Overcooked 2! is available on now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
