Return Of The Obra Dinn was an indie hit when it released late last year. But it and the game it came from might be seeing more light as game creator Lucas Pope talks about the potential of a Nintendo Switch and virtual reality port of the games.

Pope talked about the game to GameCentral at the BAFTA Games Awards last week. In the discussion, he spoke about the games' motivations, ideas, and future. Including the idea of a Nintendo Switch version of Return Of The Obra Dinn.

"A lot of people are asking for it. Actually, the first response when I released it for desktops was, When is it coming to Switch? So the writing is on the wall on that I guess.
. . .
I haven't figured anything out yet solid for it yet though."

Pope also spoke about the idea of the game releasing in VR.

"I'm pretty bullish on VR. I'm interested into looking at VR at some point, but I haven't spent any time on it now. . . It's just one of those things in the back of my mind that seems interesting."

Currently, nothing is set in stone. But Pope certainly sounds open to both ideas. I'd love to see the Obra Dinn games in VR. Then you'd truly get a sense for the things that happened there.

Return Of The Obra Dinn is available now on Steam.
