If you're a sensible gamer, then you most likely have not been playing No Man's Sky since its disaster of a release back in August of last year. Although if you for some reason do enjoy No Man's Sky even with Mass Effect Andromeda coming out soon, then you might be excited for the new Pathfinder update that's coming next week.  With this update comes a new home planet vehicle, as well as further improvements to the previously released Foundation update.  No detailed patch notes have been released yet.

While No Man's Sky definitely wasn't advertised properly, it's a fairly boring game for those who were expecting unique, and exciting space adventure.  It's essentially Minecraft in space, but I'm pretty sure that Minecraft could do it better honestly.  While it's not a horrible game, it definitely is not what it promised it would be.  Regardless of its initial launch details, if you like survival games, then you may enjoy No Man's Sky.  Just don't get suckered into buying it at full price like I did. It's without a doubt an indie game and should be priced accordingly.

Check out the details of the Pathfinder update here.
