No luck for the United States.

Fortnite remains to be one of the biggest games on nearly every platform (except iPhone now, of course). So it comes as little surprise that an upcoming Fortnite-themed Nintendo Switch console would be revealed.

Announced by Nintendo, this special edition Switch console features a unique Joy-Con color combination (blue and yellow) as well as a special design on the TV docking station that features a variety of popular characters from the game.

It will also come with a variety of digital goods. This includes a special character skin called Wildcat and 2000 V-Bucks, the premium currency in-game that players can use to redeem additional cosmetic items. The console will also have Fortnite pre-installed. But since its a free to play game, this is more of a convenience than a bonus.

The catch: It doesn't appear to be coming to the United States. The announcement only lists PAL regions as the supported areas. Sorry Canada. Otherwise, you can expect the console to hit shelves on October 30 for Europe and November 6 for Australia and New Zealand.
