Nintendo Collects the Best of the First Few Mario Party Games in Mario Party Superstars - E3 2021

Not a collection, more like a best-of album.

Nintendo didnt have a ton of new games to show off at this years E3, but there were quite a few remakes on hand from Game & Watch Zeldas, to Skyward Swords, from Fatal Frame to Advance Wars. But perhaps the only remake that actually got my attention and got me a little excited was Mario Party Superstars, a collection of the best Mario Party maps and mini-games from the Nintendo 64 era.

So yeah, its not a full remake of the first three Mario Parties rather, its 5 maps and 100+ minigames, which means some maps and games have been cut. Think of it as a best of collection, rather than a pure remake of three games. Hopefully it includes the pet minigame in the third Mario Party that was a lot of fun, if memory serves.

Oh, and Nintendo made a point of saying that this game actually works online which was one of the bigger problems with their last entry in the series Super Mario Party. So now you can actually play with all your friends no matter where in the world you are.

Nintendo learns, sometimes. But only sometimes.
