Nintendo has announced their plans for this year's E3, updating their official webpage dedicated to the event. Unfortunately, not much new information actually comes from their announcement:

"Join us during #E32018 for tournament coverage, gameplay with Treehouse | Live, and a video presentation focusing on #NintendoSwitch games coming this year, including Super #SmashBros! e3.nintendo.com"

According to the website, Nintendo plans to reveal a new video presentation on June 12, at 9:00 am PT / 12:00 pm ET, with special mention toward the upcoming Super Smash Bros for Switch. Given the game is due to release "this year," it's no surprise that they'd have more to reveal soon.

We previously reported that Nintendo plans to host both a Splatoon 2 World Championship finals and a Super Smash Bros Invitational at E3. Now we know that the two events will take place on June 12.

Nintendo is one of the least predictable companies in the industry. Any speculation as to what they're going to announce remains pure speculation. Be sure to take any supposed leaks with a grain of salt. there are many trolls living on the internet.
