The moment we have all been waiting for or maybe none of us expected but a new Warhammer 40,000 game is coming this May. NeocoreGames announced today that the newest edition to the long running Warhammer series Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor - Martyr has been given a release date of May 11th, 2018. The release will be for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This is not like other Warhammer games though, this will be the first action RPG in Warhammer history. Check out the gameplay trailer below that shows some of the enemy types as well as new gameplay mechanics.

The reactions of enemy's and armor is a nice touch to any action RPG game but I feel as if I have seen the targetting of limbs with a lime green slow down animation before. It reminds me of an almost post apocalyptic time... oh wait that's right! Fallout did this exact same thing ten years ago. Either way though, I do like that mechanic because it does change how you can play out each and every fight. I will give them credit on the execution moves being different and equally brutal for all creatures. GZU will keep you updated on any more news coming but until then go catch up on your Warhammer backlog.
