Do you like killing swarms of rat people but are bothered by the lack of continuity? Fear no longer. Warhammer: End Times Vermintide will be receiving a new mission that will tie the game in with its upcoming sequel.

Patch 1.11 is coming for Vermintide that will fix a number of bugs, as well as add a new mission, titled Waylaid. Playable after the main story, Waylaid is a bridge between the first game, and the sequel coming out later this year.

The patch announcement addresses a lengthy list of bug fixes and vaguely teases the new mission.

"Lohner has a new task for you. No doubt you're off to some forest to kill rats, right? Maybe the old goat "lost" some more incredibly dangerous relics?

Only one way to find out! To the mission table you go, heroes!"

The mission is free to anyone who owns a copy of Warhammer: End Times Vermintide, and is playable now. Enjoy this final farewell before jumping into Warhammer: Vermintide 2 when it releases this March.
