New Humble Bundle Brings Us Back to Civilization

It's the only civilized thing to do.

Wow, things sure have been crazy over at Humble Bundle, huh? Well, following after the heels of their Freedom bundle (which raised a whole lot of money, by the way, raising 6.7 million dollars for charity) we’re getting a whole new humble bundle, but this time, instead of being completely charity focused, it’s going back to the old-fashioned way of doing things with the Civilization Bundle!

For the unaware, Humble Bundle works by allowing you to pay whatever you want for some games. If you donate at least one dollar you’re promised something, if you donate more than the average you get even more things, and if you hit a certain mark you’ll get all of the things! Plus, you get to choose how much of your money goes to the developer, how much goes to charity, and how much goes to the ol’ Humble Bundle tip jar.

Today’s offering?

For $1, you get:
  • Sid Meier's Civilization III: Complete
  • Sid Meier's Civilization IV: The Complete Edition
Give more than the average (around eight bucks at time of writing) and you get:
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V: Gods & Kings
  • Sid Meier's Civilization V DLC
  • 20 percent off Sid Meier's Civilization VI
  • 25 percent off Sid Meier's Civilization VI Digital Deluxe
Pay $15, and you'll get:
  • Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth
  • Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Exoplanets Map Pack
  • Sid Meier's Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide
Gotta admit, it’s a bit weird to be seeing a “discount” in the offerings, and not just full games, but you can hardly expect Firaxis to give away their recently-released strategy gem in a humble bundle so soon. Anyway, you’ve still got thirteen days to grab this before it goes away, so open up those wallets and empty whatever junk you may still have in there.
