After years of taunting, they finally NERFed this. Overwatch has teamed up with Hasbro to develop a line of hero-themed Nerf blasters.

The announcement was made via the Overwatch Twitter account, who posted a video showing Nerf balls flying across the screen. It also shows that it will be part of the Nerf Rival line, which is their high-performance blaster selection. The line is expected to arrive next year, though any further details remain unknown at this time.

This isn't the first pop-culture item to join Nerf's Rival line. There are a Deadpool-themed Apollo XV-700 blaster and a dual-wield Kronos XVIII-500 pistol set in their product line, as well. The line also sells upgrades, like extended magazines and protective gear.

This isn't even the first time we've seen an Overwatch themed Nerf gun. Fan-modified blasters have sprung up every now and then donning a likeness to the game's weapons, ranging from D'Va's Light gun to Reapers Hellfire Shotgun. Though an officially made nerf blaster will certainly save me either a fair amount of time or a large sum of cash to commision it.

When will Nerf release a Winston Lightning gun?
