Middle-earth: Shadow of War Has Been Delayed

Yet another delay.

Late 2017 has not been a good time period for anticipated game releases. First, the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 was delayed until sometime next year, and now, Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been delayed, thankfully though, not too far back. Originally planned to launch on August 22, Monolith has pushed the release back to October, 10. Sometimes delays can be disappointing, but overall necessary for the quality of the game.

"As with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Monolith is committed to delivering the highest quality experience. In order to do this, we have made the difficult decision to move our launch date to ensure that Middle-earth: Shadow of War will deliver on that promise."

Although we won't be getting our hands on Shadow of War as soon as we'd like, we will be getting some more information, and hopefully more gameplay at E3.

"We understand that it might be disappointing to have to wait a little longer for the release and are sorry for the delay, but we are working hard to make an amazing game. Were excited to show more at E3."
