If you're somewhat of a late blooming Xbox fan, or maybe a PlayStation super fan who's looking for an Xbox One to dismantle and put on display, then you might have a bit of trouble ahead of you. The original Xbox One has been discontinued in the US and UK, and it's shown as "sold out" on the Microsoft Store.

This is not at all surprising since the Xbox One launched back in November of 2013, and the Xbox One S has more or less taken its place. With the Xbox One X coming soon and being branded as the most powerful console ever made, Microsoft has made the assumption that either nobody wants the original Xbox One anymore, or it's simply not worth it for them to keep manufacturing them.

If for whatever reason, you're still interested in purchasing an original Xbox One (maybe for the sake of collection), then you can still purchase a refurbished model from the Microsoft Store for $200.

Move out of the way Xbox One and make room for the notorious Xbox One X!
