After over 10 years of waiting, a gift has been given to us at this year's Microsoft E3 press event. Devil May Cry 5 is confirmed, and it's coming next year.
Devil May Cry 5 takes place after DMC4, disregarding the 2013 DmC spinoff that happened. The original characters and storyline from the 2010 game are given new life by director Hideaki Itsuno as he joins the development team. Dante and Nero, the demon hunters of past games - to clarify Nero is Dante's nephew - are now working together to take on the unholy in the new game.
Devil May Cry 5 is set to release sometime in Spring 2019 for Xbox One.
