With the news coming out a few days ago regarding the official release date for Mass Effect Andromeda, more information has surfaced now via the Twitter account of Aaryn Flynn, the BioWare General Manager. When he was asked if Mass Effect Andromeda would have a season pass, he simply replied "Nope". He was then quick to further his response by saying that this does not mean that Mass Effect Andromeda won't have DLC, but it's something that will be talked about and discussed at a later time.

Perhaps there will be free DLC released? Maybe you'll have to buy each DLC individually? I have absolutely no idea, but more news will be shared with the public as time goes on here. One thing that definitely has been confirmed and talked about is the early access aspect. It was confirmed by the Mass Effect Andromeda Official Twitter Account, that members of EA Access will be allowed to play Mass Effect Andromeda early for a limited amount of time.

I would imagine that if you were to buy the game afterward, your progress would have been saved and you don't have to start all over. Well, I would hope so anyway. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not this same early availability will be offered for Origin Access members on PC, but I would be surprised if they excluded Origin members. I think that if you are either an EA Access member or an Origin Access member, you'll be getting the opportunity to sit down early and grind out a few (or more) hours of Mass Effect Andromeda before everybody else. If for whatever reason you need to play Mass Effect for free right now or you haven't played any games in the series thus far, you can go pick up Mass Effect 2 for free right now.
