Fantastic JRPG, that one.

Lost Odyssey, brought to you by Mistwalker, is a bit of an oddball when it comes to the modern RPG. Created solely for the Xbox 360, it didn't have the greatest reception, but it did have a cult following. After all, where it shined was its story, especially its small set of novellas, compiled into what is known as A Thousand Years of Dreams.

And yes, that compilation was actually published.

Today, the RPG receives Xbox One backward compatibility, alongside Toy Story 3 and Guwange.

It's definitely a title to consider, considering the way the entire game paints the idea of immortality. It makes one no longer pine for immortality, that's for certain.

Still, I can't get over that commercial with White Rabbit playing in the background. I just can't.
