League of Legends Releases a New Pretty Cinematic, Awaken.

It's got Yasuo in it.

Blizzard has some competition in the world of gaming cinematics: Riot Games. They tend to make really good videos and even made mainstream headlines when they dressed four of their champions up as Korean pop stars and had them perform, which was apparently really good, according to people immersed in the world of kpop. But now they're back at it with a more conventional video, showing off champions like Yasuo, because it's always Yasuo, I'm friggin' sick of Yasuo.

I know there are other characters but there's also goddamn Yasuo. It's not enough he's literally in every game anymore, is it? Now he has to be in every video, too?

Whatever, here it is:

A deadly masterpiece unfolds. A lone resistance made whole. A chance to come alive.

So what else is there to say? It's probably there to celebrate the start of the 2019 ranked season: it shows off Yasuo + friends, it looks good, and the music is pretty dope too. Just enjoy it if you feel inclined, or don't if you're like me and you can't get over Mr. Anime hair being present.

Although I gotta admit, I do genuinely miss when these were more stories and fewer music videos.
