Buckle up, rocketeers. Rocket League is outrunning time, going back to the 80's for their current themed event, Radical Summer. It'll have more than synthwave and sunshine, it'll also feature K.I.T.T., the protagonistic coupe of the classic TV show, Knight Rider.

Radical Summer is dedicated to media culture of the 1980's. And what a better mascot to drive the event than K.I.T.T.? This super computer car is from Knight Rider, a TV show about Micheal Knight (played by David Hasselhoff) as he fought crime. K.I.T.T. comes complete with the nearly indestructible technology of the show. So don't be afraid to hit the ball hard.

Radical Summer is going on right now. It began mid-June, featuring some vaporwave style car graphics and a Ghostbusters-based vehicle option. For more information on the event, visit the official website.
