Just Cause 4 has been confirmed! Though this comes as no real surprise. The game had leaked days prior when a Steam news post accidentally revealed the game. Even so, we see more of what to expect from the game with a new trailer at Microsoft's E3 press event earlier today.

Protagonist Rico Rodriguez and his handy-dandy gadgets return for Just Cause 4. While his wingsuit and parachute stay classic, his grappling hook is said to now be "fully customizable," though what that means exactly is uncertain. Much like in the previous games, we can expect a hearty helping of destruction, disaster, and otherwise Micheal Bay-worthy action.

Baddies aren't the only threat Rico must face, however. As seen above (and in the trailer), a giant tornado has made its way into South America. This adds another extreme to face, somewhere between local oppression and violent conflict.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 4 will be releasing December 4 of this year. More detail about the game will be seen at the Square Enix press event taking place on Monday, June 11 at 10 am PT. Be sure to return to hear the scoop on that.
